ステートメント
「4 REST」 - 4本の木が集い、ひとつの森をつくる。
異なる感性を持つ4人のアーティストが集まり、それぞれの表現を通じてひとつの空間を創造するグループ展「4 REST」。
展覧会タイトルには、「4（フォー）」という数字と「Rest（休息）」を掛け合わせた意味が込められています。
4人の作品が響き合いながら、一つの場を形づくることで、まるで木々が集まり森となるように、豊かで奥行きのある空間を構成します。
そこには、鑑賞者が作品と向き合い、新たな気づきや感覚の広がりを得られる場でありたいという想いも込められています。
本展に参加するのは、それぞれ異なる手法と表現を探求する4名のアーティスト。
版画と油彩を用い、猫を主題に独自の世界を紡ぎ出す こうごみつる。繊細な筆致と独特の空気感が、見る者を物語の中へと引き込みます。
素材の持つ質感や特性を活かしながら、新たな視点を模索し続ける 五位野昌也。物質の「触感」や、日常に潜む詩情、時間の重なりを静かに浮かび上がらせます。
光と影のコントラストを巧みに操り、緻密な構成で奥行きを創出する 西村章人。静謐でありながらも力強い世界観が、観る者の想像力を刺激します。
そして、繊細な色彩と構成によって情緒を映し出す 松江利恵。柔らかくも印象的な色の重なりが、静かに心へ語りかけるような作品を展開します。
異なる表現を持つ4人のアーティストが集まり、一つの空間の中で響き合う「4 REST」。

コンセプト
油彩画と銅版画を制作。
神話や伝承に深く関心をもちながら、油彩を主な技法として作品を制作しています。
また、生き物たちの共生や自然と人間とのつながりを探り、幻想と現実のあわいに息づく、もうひとつの世界を表現したいと考えています。
家には2匹の猫とオカヤドカリが暮らしています。
Concept
I create both color paintings and copperplate prints.
With a deep interest in mythology and folklore, I primarily use oil painting as my technique of choice.
Through my work, I explore the coexistence of living creatures and the connection between nature and humans, aiming to express another world that breathes in the space between fantasy and reality.
At home, I live with two cats and a land hermit crab.
五位野昌也 GOINO Masaya
東京生まれ。静けさの中にひそむ、目には見えない構造や気配をすくい上げるように、作品を制作しています。
水や紙、顔料、ワックスなどの素材を重ね、にじみやしわ、ゆらぎといった自然な変化を取り込みながら、「記憶」や「つながり」をテーマに、かたちの奥にある感情や時間を映し出そうとしています。
かつては化学の研究者として、電子顕微鏡でポリマーの微細構造を観察していました。
その視点は今も作品に宿り、日常のささやかな風景や忘れられたものの中に、新たな意味や美しさを見出すまなざしへとつながっています。
本展「4REST」では、異なる表現同士が静かに呼応しあう空間の中で、自身の作品がどのように響き合うのかを探っています。
Born in Tokyo. I create works that seek to reveal invisible structures and subtle presences hidden beneath the surface of quiet moments.
Using materials such as water, paper, pigments, and wax, I embrace organic distortions—wrinkles, blurs, and fluctuations—to explore themes of memory, connection, and the passage of time.
I was formerly a researcher in polymer science, observing microscopic structures through an electron microscope.
That scientific perspective continues to inform my gaze as an artist, helping me to find meaning and beauty in the often-overlooked corners of everyday life.
In 4REST, I hope my work can quietly enter into dialogue with the others, showing how different forms of expression can resonate and coexist within a shared space.
西村章人
北海道在住。 アクリル、鉛筆、ドローイングペンで 写実画やイラストを制作しています。
写実画では 現実をそのまま表現するのではなく、どこか神秘的で幻想的なイメージで、モチーフをシンボリックに描くことを好みます。 イラストは、写実画を描く自分とは別の自分にスイッチを切り替えて制作しています。
今回は、写実画の比較的小さな作品を展示させていただきます。
I live in Hokkaido. I create realistic paintings and illustrations using acrylic paints, pencils, drawing pens, etc. When I create realistic paintings, I prefer to depict the subject symbolically, with a mysterious and fantastical feel, rather than expressing reality as it is. When I create illustrations, I switch to a different self from the one I draw realistic paintings. This time, I will be exhibiting relatively small realistic paintings. In my private life, I am crazy about old Harley Davidsons that were produced 50 years ago.
松江利恵 MATSUE Rie
生き物が生まれ、花を咲かせ、実を結び、土へ還っていく時間を見つめ、様々な生命の時間の交錯する中 光と影、夢と現の境界で揺らぐ視点を描き出し鑑賞者が記憶と未来への思いの中を旅できる空間を目指し画面を構築しています。

My work looks at the time when living things are born, blossom, bear fruit, and return to the earth, In the intermingling of the various times of life, I depicts a perspective that wavers at the boundary between light and shadow, dream and reality.
The artist's goal is to create a space in which viewers can travel through memories and thoughts of the future.
