孔依舟張思夢二人展「それでも、水は流れる」

ごあいさつ

　この度は本展にお越しいただきありがとうございます。

　存在することに理由なんてなくても、水は流れる。

　人は誰しも、不完全で、いびつで、時に醜い形をしている。それでも、心の奥底には、どうしようもない衝動や希望が渦巻いている。生き延びるための牙、痛みを覆う棘、そして光を求める根。それらは見えなくても、確かに存在する。

　本展では、異なる表現手法を通じて、「生の執念」と「存在の肯定」を描き出す。花のように咲かなくても、声を持たなくても、ただそこにあることの強さ。水に揺れながら、牙を剥きながら、私たちはそれぞれの形で生きている。

「それでも、水は流れる」——
あらがっても、拒まれても、折れても。私たちは、止まらない。

Greeting

  Existence Needs No Reason — Just Like a River Flows Without Asking Why

  We are all incomplete—sometimes crooked, at times even seemingly ugly. Yet deep within, there is always a restless surge of impulses and hopes: fangs born for survival, thorns to hide our pain, roots stretching toward the light. They may be invisible, but they are undeniably there.

  This exhibition, themed around an obsession with life and an affirmation of existence, seeks to touch upon that quiet, unseen strength through diverse forms of expression. Even without blossoming like a flower, even without making a sound, the mere act of “being there” is a powerful stance. We sway with the current, bare our fangs at times, and exist in our own ways.

  —And still, the water flows.

  Even in resistance, rejection, or when broken, we never cease.
